Time for School!

Ashlyn Taylor Horton is off to fourth grade. She is going to study Idaho History this year and is way excited. She is growing so fast and is so smart.

Sidnee Anadine Horton is going to be in first grade. She is excited to eat school lunch with her friends and learn to read books. Alex won't know what to do without her home all day long.

Camping Camping Camping...

Here we are at Horseshoe Lake. We were nervous we would freeze and it would rain on us, but the weather was pretty good and we had a blast. Fishing, eating smores, huckleberries, and four wheeling. What could be better than that! Alex used to be scared to hold a fish and now he loves the fish and the worms. Ashlyn is pretty persistent and she was catching more fish than Gary. He will have a good fishing bud when she gets a little older.

The guys were brave to take all the kids and two dogs fishing. Us women were impressed.

Ashlyn and the other girls were swimming in the lake getting Lilly pads and flowers.

Alex can't get enough of anything with a motor and can go fast. We better watch out for when he gets older. He is going to be crazy.

Life has been busy and crazy, but summer is almost gone. We are sad to see summer go because it was so short this year with our wet spring. Well we have to get ready for going back to school.

Our Princess is ONE!!!

She cant be one. Time went bye so fast. I really can't believe she is walking, getting into everything, and climbing the stairs. She is so love able and loves to be cuddled. Her hair has gotten so curly. People have asked me if she is half black. She is so cute and everywhere I go people always say " She is so beautiful." She is and I am glad she is in our family. We love you little Reagan.

Independence Day!

We enjoyed an air show in Rexburg that was fun to see. Alex loves airplanes and we well entertained. It is amazing some of the tricks they could do. For the four of July we did the same thing we do every year. Parade, BBQ, and watch fireworks. This year Ashlyn wanted to earn money so she sat on the sidewalk and sold pop and water to thirsty strangers. She made $25.00. She was sure proud of herself. She will be a good salesman. It was a good day and had fun with family and friends.

Happy really late birthday!

I have been a blog slacker and missed posting my little boys birthday. He is three and full of life. He loved his car cake and still wonders where it is at. I have to keep telling him we ate it and he wants it back. He is also addicted to his bike and is super fast on it. He thinks he is super man. I just look at him and think life as a kid was fun. no real worries in the world. I need to remember to have fun still and not sweat the small stuff.

rain rain go away

It has been raining here so much lately and well rain and dirt make mud. Our poor neighbors always have our kids in their yard playing or making a mess. I went to town and when I came back i saw this. i asked them if their dad knew what they were doing and all they said was " He told us if we came inside we would have to take a nap." So, no Gary was tying flies down stairs. well they had fun and the neighbors were good sports about it. We just have to help them rake out the foot prints when it drys up.

Little Reagan is now 11 months old and is pulling herself up to everything now. She is the cutest and is a snuggle bug. I love that and I can't believe it has almost been a year.

When we have had nice weather we make sure we get out. This is on memorial weekend when we took the kids fishing up to Henry's Lake. Ashlyn catch so many fish and of course I didn't have my camera when she catch the fish. Reagan and I were just holding down the dock all day. Maybe next year I will get a fishing licence. Ashlyn is going to give gary a challenge some day. Today it hailed and rained and our garden is drowning. Idaho has some crazy weather, but we sure glad so be so blessed with healthy kids and a beautiful home to stay dry in. Bring on the warm weather!

What a bargin!

Well I have been learning all about couponing and how it all works and surprisingly it is complicated. It is fun if you don't take the kids to the store. In this picture I bought all this for only $6.00 dollars. I was amazed and it is crazy that you really can get stuff for free. We are just tiring to work on food storage. i just wanted to show my amazing deal.
