DEAR SANTA,

The kids are so excited of course for christmas and they couldn't wait to send him their wish list. So they wrote thier letters and off to the santa mail box down town we went. Ashlyn wants a camera, sidnee barbie cruise ship, and Alex a brum brum(truck or train). Alex I don't think understands the whole santa thing,but he sees how excited the girls are and knows something good is coming. Ashlyn and Sidnee are still true believers even when the kids on the bus say he isn't real. We are just staying home this year to make the holidays a little less stressful. We wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Years.

The pirate and her bride

Here we are at the trunk or treat at the school. These are great in Idaho because it is usually cold and it is a great way to get a lot of candy fast.This year the weather was good and it was in the sixties. For Idaho that is really good and were are glad there is no snow. Ashlyn is a cute pirate and Sidnee is the perfect bride. She can only marry her dad until she is 21.

We went to Boo at the zoo here in Idaho falls and the kids had a good time except Alex. He was scared of everyone costumes. Since he was a skeleton we called him scaredy bones. It was a great Halloween and the kids of course got a lot of candy so we can keep up the dental bill.

The Sleepy Bride and Pumpkins

The other day Sidnee was ready to go to her dance lessons party and Alex and the baby were sleeping so Sidnee went to play in her room and She was quite so I went to check on her and here she was. Poor Girl got tiered of waiting and decided to crash.

Here are the pumpkins we made the other night. We thought they turned out good. Sidnee is a bride, Ashlyn is a pirate, Alex is a skeleton named Bones, and Reagan is a baby. I didn't want to waste my money on a costume so she is her self. Hope you all have a happy Halloween!

The Story Of The Cat

Our kitty midnight was a sweet cat and he was always so good to move out of the way when I pulled out or into the garage. Well one day it had been a busy day and we came home and I just pulled right in not thinking about the cat and it could be that i was on the phone with my friend Nita. As I was talking I pulled in and went to let Alex out of the car and As I looked down the poor cat was laying behind my back tire. Nita is the one that gave us the cat and I said " Nita I ran over your cat with my car, I am so sorry". I was sick. I could not believe it and I did feel bad even though I really didn't want a cat. The kids all started to cry and Alex in on the floor trying to talk to the cat and there was no moving. I called Gary and he came home and we had a funeral for Midnight.Well we thought since we had all the stuff we could get another kitty. Alex would always say " Kitty die, Kitty die". So this is our new six week old cat Spooks. Alex loves the cat and poor cat takes all the abuse. I hope we can give this one a longer life. SO sorry Nita we are bad cat owners.

On a roll!

Well we now have a cat to help with the mice around our house. The cat is cute, but Alex can't leave him alone as you can see. To me it is one more thing for me to watch and take care of. Don't you love it how kids talk us into these things then we are the ones that have to take care of them. Alex didn't almost live through this day. I wanted to sell him. As I was cleaning the cat mess up I put Alex in the house and he managed to pull out my dishes and break this platter and the day before that he broke a light bulb. He is crazy and it is making me crazy. Are all boys like this or is it my special kid?

Winter is on it's way

This is the first snow fall this year. The kids were so excited to get out and play in it. I had to get all the winter clothes from the closet out. Then i figured out that kids grow so darn fast because the boots are to small and snow suit is to short. I really hate to buy snow clothes for some reason. Well now I now what i need to buy. The snow melted the next day it is back up to the fifties. It was fun to have snow for a day, but I think next time we will have the snow for the next five months.Time to fly south!

Terrible Two's

I decided to have my camera ready one morning to see how much damage Alex can do in one hour. This I want you to know is a typical morning for us.After this we cleaned him all up ,vacuumed up the mess, and then got him dressed. I proceeded to do my hair. I hear a noise in the kitchen and this is what I found. he is also sitting is a pop that is spilled trying to get in the cabinet. So I cleaned this up and went back to do my hair.
This is what I found. He squeezed my hair stuff out and put it in his hair and got a little to much. So we wiped him up and feed the baby so we could get Sidnee from school. It is 10:30 and I am ready to go back to bed.

And of course he loves toilet paper like all kids. We love two year old 's and good thing his is cute or I would have sold him by now. Good luck moms that have two year old I feel your pain.

Sweet thing

Our sweet little girl is almost three months and I can't believe it. It is sad that it goes so fast. She is still eating like crazy and has four fat rolls on her legs. She is smiling and only talks to her mommy. That is the good thing about being the mom is you get to see all of the first things baby's do. We are enjoying her and the kids think she is the best thing. I am sure they will think this until she is Alex 's age and recking all their stuff. Baby's are a joy I wish I could just sit and hold her all day, but those days are done when you have more than one kid.

Her Special Day!

Here is our little cutie on her special day. She was so good she slept through the whole thing. Gary gave her an awsome blessing that was so sweet. I had these beautiful pictures taken and she was so good. We are enjoying her and she is starting to smile and coo.

Say Cheese

We finally had family pictures taken after three years. They turned out pretty good, but the day we had them taken it was 40 mile an hour winds. We had them taken in an alley way in downtown Idaho falls. What a chore to get four kids to hold still. Alex lasted 15 minutes and Sidnee and Ashlyn were acting like models. Pictures are hard because kids change so fast year to year, but it is fun to see how they change over the years. We love our kids and are learning to deal with the struggles of day to day life with small kids. Gary and I are glad our family is complete and are dreaming of that vacation of when our kids are old enough to enjoy it. The only sad part of being done having kids is that we have such adorable ones.

5 weeks

Here she is in some of her cute outfits. I love that part about having a baby girl, is dressing them up in the tiny clothes. You forget of how time consuming they are, but they are worth it. She is gaining weight like crazy cause she likes to eat every two hours with a snack in between. She is so cute and is starting to smile and make sounds. I am trying to enjoy every minute because she is my last baby.

Where did summer go?

Here they come Taylor's Crossing ready or not. The girls are ready to go back to school and meet new friends. Sidnee was a little scared of the bus, but now really likes it. Ashlyn is excited this year because she has a really awesome teacher this year.

Reagan Renee' Horton

The princess has arrived. She was born July 16Th, 2008 at 12:45 a.m. She came into this world with a bang. She was born 45 minutes of walking into the hospital. It was so fast and scary to me. Gary and a nurse delivered her then the doctor walked in. We are glad it is over with and she is healthy. We are all doing good and the kids can't get enough kisses her. I can't believe our family is now complete. Gary has started the count down for when they are all out of the house.

Happy July 4th!

We had a good fourth this year. We went to the parade in Ashton of course, were the parade is short and sweet and the kids leave with a ton of candy. Then we took the kids to the movie and then to I.F. for the fireworks. Alex loved the fireworks and all the loud noises. We are proud of my brother Troy (who is in Iraq) that he is willing to sacrifice his time from his family to help our country. We are grateful for the freedom we have.

Terrible Two's

Our baby boy turned two and sure let's you know that he is two. He is full of life and loves to be outside. He is definitely Gary's child. He loves cars, trucks and anything that goes brummmmm. He is spoiled and we can't get enough of having a boy.

He probably is making a wish for his daddy to buy him his own motorcycle or truck. He also loves anything sweet like his mom. He really liked his cake, Thanks to Aunt George.

Well I really don't have any other pics to share right now because I spend my summer around the house waiting for this baby to come. We should have this baby sometime before the 20Th or when ever my doctor decides to stay in town. I hate doctor right now. You pay them alot of money and they can't even be around when you need them. I am also a bitter, grouchy, pregnant women, so I know the feeling Nanta.

SUMMER TIME!

We baptized our first child on June 14Th. I can't believe we are that old to have a eight year old. Ashlyn was so excited for her big day and that all her cousins could come.We had a great day and are thankful for everyone that came and supported us.


We had a great time with all the cousins being together and it is good to see that they are great friends even though they don't see each other that often. We have had a cold spring so it is nice to finally have summer here so the kids can get outside and play.
